Shoot for the stars

Moonleap is a paid arcade and puzzle game by Gustavo Colares and is the mobile version of the well-loved game on PC. Its rules are simple: Help the moon boy recover the shooting stars by jumping and catching stars while the setting changes from night and day.

Jumping around pixels

When launching Moonleap, you might be reminded of other 8-bit-style games like PacMan Classic, The Sandbox, and Knights of Pen and Paper 2 due to its graphics, which perfectly add to its charm. As mentioned, it has very easy-to-learn gameplay, which means it's perfect for leisure.

Gameplay isn't repetitive as well, so you won't be too bored playing for hours. However, it can be too challenging, especially when you get to the higher levels, which can be counterproductive if you're playing to destress and get your mind off of things.

Can get too challenging

Moonleap is a simple yet charming game that has adorable 8-bit graphics that give off a nostalgic feel. Although easy to learn, it can be challenging at higher levels. It's an ideal game for leisure, but it may not be suitable for those who want to destress due to its difficulty.

PROS
